Me and My BFF

Hey everyone. If you are reading this, it means that you must know me in some way. So, as you all know, I am an environmentalist. This week in my science class, we are talking about my favorite and least favorite subject, and that is pollution and what it does to our world. Have you guys ever heard of the Great Pacific Garbage Chunk? Well, I don't think that that is the correct name, but what it is is a huge chunk of garbage floating around in the Pacific Ocean. And when I say huge, I mean it. This thing is nearly twice the size of Texas. So, I've decided that whoever reads this, I hope at least, will start recycling. If you read this article and recycle, Post a comment, and in a few days, I'll write a comment back to you. RECYCLE! Oh, by the way, the thing above is just some of the garbage patch in the Pacific

Hey Ashley. It is Amber again. I will RECYCLE!! That garbage chunk thing is terrible and if possible to stop it, we could try together.

I know. My science teacher said that it is too big to get rid of all at once, but maybe chunks at a time. There is one picture on the internet that has a man who has some of the garbage caught in his fish net. It is absolutely disgusting. Maybe that's it. Maybe we use fish nets to clean all of it up, to get rid of it. There was this one story of a sea tortoise that got a rubber band from the garbage patch stuck around his waist when he was just a little turtle, and he lived with that thing around his waist, or I should say stomach, until adulthood. It is such a sad story.

Wow. That is terrible. You're right about the fish net thing. It may be disgusting, but if we catch the garbage with fishing nets chunk by chunk we could get most of it, if not, all of it out. That would be a miracle.
