The Trip

Last Wedsenday, I flew in from Washington D.C. and my family and I had a great time. We came in on the Sunday before from Colorado. We traveled to D.C. and drove in a rental car to St.Michaels, Maryland, a small town on the eastern shore of Maryland. My grandparents live in a house in the country and it is extremely beautiful. The backyard is the most beautiful of them all. It is huge and at the tip of the yard is a narrow dock, with two boats at the end. One sail boat, and a motor boat. The sail boat's name is Glimmer and the motor boat's name is Yonder. Every year, we go out on Yonder and take a ride! Oh, I almost forgot, they live at the border of the Chesapeke Bay. The Chesapeke Bay is filled with brackish water. Brackish water is half salt water, and half fresh water. I miss the smell of salt. I'm sad going to St.Michaels only comes once a year. Bye!!!
